Mammootty has made a notable return with his latest film ‘Bramayugam,’ which has garnered positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. The Malayalam movie has seen a successful opening at the box office, being screened in over 200 theaters across Kerala. It achieved an overall occupancy rate of 37.67% during both morning and afternoon shows, with morning screenings recording an estimated 41.44% occupancy and afternoon shows slightly lower at 33.89%. Regional analysis showed impressive occupancy rates of 79.50% in Kottayam, 56.5% in Kochi, and 52% in Kozhikode. Notably, ‘Bramayugam’ had the highest number of screenings (128 shows) in Kochi among all theaters in Kerala.
In Bengaluru, out of a total of 156 shows, the film secured a 17.50% occupancy rate. Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, ‘Bramayugam’ is a horror thriller starring Mammootty, alongside Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, and others in the cast.
